20th May 2010 - Great News for sellers!!! The government has announced the suspension of 'Home Information Packs' with immediate effect from 21st May 2010. This means that homes marketed for sale on or after this date will no longer need a home information pack. However 'Energy Performance Certificates' are still required. Todays announcement sends a clear message of encouragement to our potential new clients thinking of selling their home as the cost and hassle of coming to market has been removed.

25th March 2010 -A new stamp duty holiday FOR FIRST TIME BUYERS ONLY was launched in the recent budget!!! Stamp duty land tax of 1% is paid on the whole value ie purchase price of a property costing between £125,000 & £250,000. This is great news for our first time buyers saving up to a possible £2,500.
